Employees of Kuzbasskaya Toplivnaya Company JSC supported social events dedicated to Victory Day

In the lead-up to Victory Day in the Great Patriotic War, specialists from the Kuzbass Fuel Company group took part in two patriotic events.
As part of the annual All-Russian campaign to help veterans, "Red Carnation," 200 company employees purchased badges in the shape of a flower—a symbol of remembrance. According to the terms of the campaign, all proceeds from the sale of the badges will be donated to support veterans of the Great Patriotic War and other military conflicts in modern history.

"Any assistance to veterans is an honor, because they fought for our well-being and life under peaceful skies. Every year, our family remembers with gratitude my great-grandfather, my mother's grandfather, Anton Ivanovich Chashchin. He served on the Belorussian Front and participated in the liberation of Warsaw. At the end of the war, he was wounded in the leg and demobilized. He was awarded the medals "For Military Merit" and "For Victory over Germany." On this holiday, we also remember my wife's grandmother, who was a home front worker and worked at the Kuznetsk Metallurgical Plant during the war. We cherish their memory as an example of human courage and fortitude in the face of a deadly threat," says Dmitry Serg, Deputy Director for Equipment Repair and Operation at JSC KTK.

"Victory Day has evoked warm feelings in me since childhood. On this day, we pay tribute to the defenders of our homeland, the glorious veterans of the Great Patriotic War. In our family, my grandfather, Ivan Nikolaevich Popov, served in the war. For his military exploits on the First Far Eastern Front, he was awarded the Order of the Patriotic War, 2nd Class, and the Medal "For Military Merit." As an elderly man, he led an active social life, wrote poetry, and participated in military-patriotic events for young people. I am very proud of him and will happily wear this memorial medal along with the St. George ribbon on holidays.
Following in my grandfather's footsteps, I decided to take part in the city-wide "100 Katyushas" campaign this year. "We'll gather with a hundred other namesakes and perform the famous front-line song 'Katyusha' in a Kemerovo park," shares Ekaterina Popova, Deputy Head of the Logistics and Technical Services Department.

As part of the All-Russian "Victory Windows" campaign, aimed at preserving the memory of the heroic deeds of previous generations, employees of the Kemerovo office decorated the façade windows with stencils featuring military symbols. This year, red carnations became a distinctive, vibrant element of the festive decorations.
