The first working meeting between the production team of Kuzbasskaya Toplivnaya Company JSC and the heads of coal trading platforms in the Kemerovo Region – branches of Kuzbasstoplivosbyt LLC – was held at the Vinogradovsky open-pit mine. The event aimed to develop a strategy for effective collaboration in coal delivery to end consumers.
As part of the meeting, representatives from sales sites were given a tour of key production areas: the coalface, the loading area, and the processing plant. Open-pit mine specialists explained and demonstrated the process of stripping, mineral extraction, sorting and crushing run-of-mine coal, beneficiation, loading into railcars, and transportation. Commercial representatives were able to ask questions on-site about loading conditions and ways to improve product quality.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the management and production staff of JSC KTK answered pressing questions from trade specialists, discussed the current situation in the regional solid fuel market, and ways to further collaborate.
"We decided to organize this meeting to strengthen internal corporate ties, since Kuzbasstoplivosbyt LLC is our subsidiary, as well as to optimize and improve the quality of the process of shipping our product to consumers. Our goal is to share real-world experiences and observations to identify weaknesses in the production of highly competitive products. The region's solid fuel market is oversaturated, so we are interested in maintaining our sales markets and would like to take into account all the feedback and suggestions from consumers of our coal," noted Evgeny Dmitriev, Managing Director and Director of the Vinogradovsky Open-Pit Mine, at the meeting.
