The Kuzbassstoplivosbyt company showed activists of the All-Russian Popular Front (ONF), representatives of state authorities and local self-government the work of warehouses with subsidized coal for the population of the Kemerovo region.
The on–site monitoring of the organization of work to provide the population with coal was attended by the co-chairman of the Regional Headquarters of the ONF in Kuzbass, Deputy Chairman of the Legislative Assembly of the Kemerovo Region - Kuzbass Yuri Skvortsov, Deputy Head of Kemerovo Sergey Lysenko, representatives of the Ministry of Coal Industry of Kuzbass and the State Institution "Center for Operational Control of Housing and Communal and Road Complex of Kuzbass", as well as activists of the ONF.
They got acquainted with the work of the coal warehouses of the company "Kuzbassplivosbyt" in the cities of Kemerovo and Topki.
Andrey Kharitonenko, General Director of Kuzbassplivosbyt LLC, spoke about the results of work on providing the population of Kuzbass with subsidized coal in 2021 and plans for 2022.
In 2021, Kuzbassplivosbyt shipped over 500 thousand tons of subsidized coal to the population of Kuzbass. The Company not only fully fulfilled its obligations to provide Kuzbass residents with fuel within the framework of the agreement concluded with the Administration of the Kemerovo Region, but also, at the request of the Administration, provided additional volumes of subsidized coal supplies to the population.
According to the agreement concluded with the Administration of the Kemerovo Region for 2022, Kuzbassplivosbyt will ship more than 520 thousand tons of subsidized fuel to the population of Kuzbass. At the same time, the company's warehouses now hold 60 thousand tons of coal, which is approximately equal to a three-week supply.
"We have a rhythmic rail shipment of fuel, which allows us to keep stocks in warehouses constant and irreducible. Prices for subsidized fuel for the population, which are approved by the Regional Energy Commission of Kuzbass, in the 1st half of 2022 remained unchanged compared to December last year," Andrey Kharitonenko said.
The workshop also touched upon the topic of quality control of subsidized coal for the population.
Yuri Skvortsov, Co-Chairman of the Regional Headquarters of the Popular Front in the Kemerovo region, Deputy Chairman of the Legislative Assembly of the Kemerovo Region – Kuzbass:
"Currently, the experts of the Popular Front are studying all aspects of the organization of work to provide the population with coal, first of all, issues that concern citizens. This is the definition of the social norm of solid fuel per household, and the cost of delivery, and the quality of coal. We noted that citizens often do not have up-to-date information about how coal is provided, so explanatory work should be carried out by both suppliers themselves and relevant authorities at the regional level and a specific municipality. For their part, the experts of the Popular Front will continue to analyze this issue and prepare their proposals to all participants in the process."
Sergey Lysenko, Deputy Head of the City, Head of the Housing and Communal Services Department of the Kemerovo City Administration:
"The issue of providing coal to the population is important, we keep every appeal of Kemerovo residents on the quality of coal and its availability under control. We periodically go to the coal depots to check the situation."
"The number of appeals from the population on the quality of Kuzbassstoplivosbyt coal products in 2021 decreased compared to 2020, amounting to less than 0.1% of the total number of consumers," commented Andrey Kharitonenko. He said that the company supplies coal to the population from the Vinogradovsky mine located in Kuzbass. Fuel quality control is carried out directly at the cut, as well as in a certified independent laboratory. The company works with all requests received from consumers regarding the quality of products. If necessary, additional examinations are carried out.
At the same time, the general director of the company noted that Kuzbassplivosbyt is not the only supplier of subsidized coal to the population of the Kemerovo region, currently occupying about 50% of this market segment.
The Kuzbassstoplivosbyt sales network includes 15 branches that provide subsidized fuel to the population of 19 municipal districts of the Kemerovo Region.
"Kuzbassstoplivosbyt is the oldest company in the Kemerovo region that has been supplying social coal to the population since 2003. Recently, a lot of unverified information has appeared on social networks that have nothing to do with our company. Our company has no problems with the shipment of coal to the population: there is a lot of coal in warehouses, prices for it have not risen. Being market leaders and a socially responsible company, we are ready to cooperate closely with representatives of public organizations and public authorities in ensuring information transparency of control over the supply of subsidized coal to our company to the public," Andrey Kharitonenko said.
