A new Komatsu PC800 hydraulic excavator supplied by the Kuzbass branch of Sumitek International LLC has been added to the park of quarry equipment of Kuzbass Fuel Company. This is the second Komatsu PC800 excavator at the Vinogradovsky mine that has been put into operation recently.
The new Komatsu PC800 excavator equipped with a 4.4 cc bucket. m and equipped with a 370 kW engine, will allow for selective mining of coal seams with the separation of rock layers and stripping of coal bundles, improving the quality of the extracted coal. The excavator will be involved in coal mining at the open-pit mining site No. 1, the company said.
Among the advantages of the new equipment are high speed, switchable boom operation modes, a highly environmentally friendly engine, increased load capacity, as well as increased stability and significant ground cutting force.
Now the Vinogradovsky section park has 23 Komatsu brand excavators, in which more than half are PC1250 models that have no analogues. In 2022, Kuzbass Fuel Company plans to significantly increase the volume of coal production. To this end, CPC JSC is implementing an investment program to expand and upgrade the fleet of mining and transport equipment – including excavator equipment - the main production asset of the company – the Vinogradovsky coal mine.
