Kuzbass Fuel Company expands the cooperation with specialized interregional educational institutions

Kuzbass Fuel Company has expanded the geography of cooperation with specialized educational institutions. Now, in addition to Kuzbass universities, technical schools and vocational schools, the company is developing cooperation with other educational institutions throughout the country.

Within the framework of the development of professional education and the formation of the personnel reserve of the mining industry, Kuzbass Fuel Company has been cooperating for many years with specialized educational institutions of the Kemerovo region, where the main production asset of the company is located – the Vinogradovsky coal mine.

Every year, more than a hundred students of specialized educational institutions of Kuzbass undergo practical training at the Vinogradovsky section with the possibility of subsequent employment.

In 2022, Kuzbass Fuel Company for the first time began cooperation with a specialized educational institution of the neighboring region – Irkutsk National Research Technical University.

The company has allocated places for paid industrial practice to students of  Irkutsk National Research Technical University.

This practice lasts from June 20 to July 17. Students are trained in the technical department and at the drilling site.

The internship began with an instruction on labor protection and fire safety, familiarization with the job description and a tour of the section.

"The first impression was made by a young and energetic team. Secondly, for the first time we saw the plans of mining operations of the section. There were a lot of questions, but a responsive curator helped to cope with them," Alyona Milekhina, a 4th-year student of mining, shares her impressions.

"My teacher at the Irkutsk National Research Technical University recommended me to do an internship at the Kuzbass Fuel Company. Since this is my first production practice, everything is very interesting! We learned how to work quickly with documentation, improved our skills in AutoCAD," says Maria Khakhalova.
