In accordance with the requirements of Rostekhnadzor, established by order No. 519 of 12/11/2020, at an enterprise classified as a hazardous production facility, all welders, as well as welding production specialists, must be certified by the National Welding Control Agency (NAKS).
Therefore, in 2025, 54 employees at the Vinogradovsky open-pit mine passed such certification: 22 welders and 32 welding production specialists (mechanics, heads of departments responsible for the repair of equipment and production facilities). For these purposes, about two million rubles were allocated from the enterprise budget. The certification procedure for the open-pit mine employees took place in the city of Kemerovo, away from production for three days. The welding certification program included performing welding work and checking theoretical training. The specialists drew up technological maps for welding work and also passed theoretical testing.
A welder's certification certificate is valid for two years, and a specialist's certificate is valid for three years.
Also, in accordance with the requirements of Rostekhnadzor, last year the welding technology itself was certified by NAKS at the Vinogradovsky open-pit mine.
Certification of technology shows whether the organization has everything necessary to perform high-quality welding work, including: specialists, welding equipment, auxiliary equipment for welding, welding materials of proper quality, process maps and process instructions.
"During the certification of the technology in the open-pit conditions, control welded joints were made, which were transferred to an independent laboratory for quality assessment using ultrasound, X-ray, and also underwent tensile testing. All joints were found to meet quality standards," says senior open-pit mechanic Ksenia Zhigulina.
