On the eve of the 80th anniversary of Victory Day in the Great Patriotic War, specialists from the Kuzbass Fuel Company group took part in the all-Russian patriotic event “Windows of Victory,” aimed at maintaining the memory of the feat of previous generations.
In the windows of the main office in the city of Kemerovo and in the administrative and amenity complex of the Vinogradovsky open-pit mine in the Belovsky district, employees of the enterprises placed openwork stencils with the symbols of the Great Victory. Figures of soldiers, contours of famous monuments of Russia, symbols of peace and eternal memory of those killed in the battles of 1941-1945 (doves, cranes and eternal flames) decorated the facades of buildings and created a pre-holiday atmosphere inside the offices.
“Even just cutting out stencils for an event is a reverent job that makes you think about the significance of the event that took place 80 years ago. We all remember that in our country there is not a single family that was not touched by the misfortune of the Great Patriotic War. Our grandfathers and grandmothers, fathers and mothers, in one way or another, were part of the common efforts aimed at Victory. And with this kind action we pay tribute to their fortitude,” says Elena Nikitina, chief economist of KTK Consulting LLC.
“The Victory Day is an important part of our culture. Carving out touching images of people who gave a lot of effort for our free future, you involuntarily empathize with their joys and sorrows. Our grandparents, who went through the fire of war, are real heroes and deserve eternal memory,” explains Olga Popova, a specialist in accounting for the loading area of the Vinogradovsky mine.
This was my first time taking part in this event, but I really liked the result. When you make something beautiful through joint efforts, it truly pleases and makes this world a better place,” shares her impressions of a young specialist, accountant at KTK Consulting LLC Elizaveta Kuzina.
