Employees of JSC KTK in the city of Kemerovo, as well as specialists from the Vinogradovsky open-pit mine in the Belovsky Municipal District, go out into the street and clean the areas adjacent to production and administrative buildings.
Cleaning and beautification of common areas will take place every Friday until the end of April. The events are aimed at improving the environmental culture of the region’s citizens and improving the appearance of municipalities.
“We support this campaign every year. Cleanup is a long-standing useful tradition of making the space around you cleaner and tidier. Understanding that a lot of effort has been put into caring for the territory, a person intuitively strives to comply with the basic rules of a culture of behavior.
In addition, cleanup days create conditions for informal communication, during which colleagues get to know each other better. In simple joint work, the team unites and, as a result, the common corporate spirit is strengthened,” says Svetlana Eletskaya, Head of the Department for Personnel and Personnel Policy of KTK JSC.
Also, civil defense experts note that garbage collection is a fire protection measure for natural areas adjacent to the company’s production buildings, which is very important in the spring.
