Coal enterprises are famous for their Belaz workers, bulldozer and excavator operators, loader and grader drivers. Sitting behind the wheel of such serious equipment is truly difficult work, requiring a lot of knowledge and experience.
But the Kuzbass Fuel Company Joint Stock Company also employs many company car drivers who ensure interaction between managers and specialists of all enterprises. For example, in Kemerovo, the company car fleet includes 13 cars, trucks and passenger vehicles, driven by 9 professionals with extensive driving experience.
Pavel Timofeev, senior driver: “The geography of our trips extends not only to the entire Kuzbass, but also beyond its borders. We visit the Omsk and Novosibirsk regions, Altai Territory. Each of the drivers has more than 10 years of experience in the company, and some have more than 20. I myself, one might say, since the founding of the company, continue to deliver managers, specialists and cargo to various enterprises and business partners. I’ve been passionate about my work since childhood, but despite my wealth of experience, I recently started getting additional education in vehicle maintenance.”
Drivers say that they often overcome off-road conditions and bad weather, for example, when surveyors carry out their engineering work. In icy conditions and snowstorms on dangerous sections of the routes, you have to use all your skill and attentiveness to deliver passengers to their destination.
The distances traveled will impress any experienced motorist. The meters of only two running cars, which were purchased from showrooms about 11 years ago, show a total of about 1 million kilometers. It's like traveling around the globe 25 times.
Dmitry Krivoshchekov, driver: “The most important thing is that over the past 15 years we have not had a single accident. We are responsible for the lives and health of the people we transport on official business, so caution on the road and the safety of passengers is our top priority.
A driver is like a swimmer. When the movement is beautiful and clean, like butterfly swimming, you yourself enjoy such work. And enjoying what you do is very important!”
Since the beginning of 2024 alone, 8 vehicles from the Kemerovo fleet of the Kuzbass Fuel Company have covered about 220 thousand kilometers. This is more than 8 thousand hours on the road.
