In Q1 2021, Kuzbass Fuel Company increased coal sales by 32%
In the 1st quarter of 2021 , Kuzbass Fuel Company (PJSC KTK) increased the sale of energy coal by 32% compared to the same period in 2020. The volume of energy coal sales in the 1st quarter of 2021 amounted to 3.3 million tons, while in the 1st quarter of 2020 it amounted to 2.5 million tons.
At the same time, the supply of energy coal for export increased in the 1st quarter of 2021 compared to the same period last year by 33% - from 1.74 to 2.32 million tons of fuel. The sale of solid fuel to the domestic market in the 1st quarter of 2021 increased compared to the 1st quarter of 2020 by 29% - from 0.76 million tons to 0.98 million tons of coal.
"Kuzbass Fuel Company" produces stone energy coal brand "D." The main production asset of the company is the Vinogradovsky section. High-quality coal of "D" grade with a calorie content of 5450-5550 and 5750-6000 kCal/kg, mined at KTK PJSC enterprises, is characterized by low ash content, low amount of sulfur and high calorific value. Fuel is shipped for the needs of large electricity generation, private households, municipal boiler houses and industrial consumers, and is also exported.
