Our strategy implies expanding our thermal coal production on existing facilities and infrastructure. We believe that each dollar spent on our development is an investment in our future, our workforce and the region as a whole.
At the same time, we are continuously strengthening our position in the global market. Our strategy in this area consists of a range of initiatives – from optimizing our logistics processes to improving our coal quality through building coal enrichment facilities.
Our strategy involves gradually increasing coal output and reaching design capacity of our three open-pit mines. Along with production expansion, we plan to further upgrade existing equipment with state-of-the-art machinery from the leading international manufacturers, such as Komatsu, P&H and BelAZ. We also plan to expand coal reserves through reclassification of existing resources and further exploration works on existing mines and on our own agricultural land bank.
We aim to increase our product quality through construction of new enrichment facilities, which will allow us to command higher coal prices, diversify and expand our customer base and reduce transportation costs. Higher coal quality will enable us to enter new markets and secure contracts with major international coal traders and consumers.
We plan to further develop our regional retail distribution network and enhance our presence domestically. Our coal retail network is one of the largest in Western Siberia and provides us with a stable and conventional market in Russia.
