The Vinogradovsky section of the Kuzbass Fuel Company held an annual event to restore biological resources in water bodies affected during the development of sections of the Karakansky coal deposit.
The company released about four thousand nelma fry into the Tom River of the Ob basin.
Compliance with the technology of rearing was monitored by specialists of the Verkhneobsky territorial Administration of Rosrybolovstvo and the Tomsk Scientific and Industrial fish breeding complex.
The fish fry were grown in a special outgrowth pond to the size necessary for survival. The release of the fry of the nelma was carried out on the basis of favorable conditions for the adaptation and growth of fish – having determined in advance the appropriate place and water temperature.
