The team of the Vinogradovsky open-pit mine, a branch of Kuzbass Fuel Company JSC, took part in the volleyball tournament organized by the Belovsky territorial committee of ROSUGLEPROF. The sports competition was held in the village of Cherta, Belovsky urban district, on the basis of the sports hall of school No. 9. In total, 5 teams from different enterprises, supervised by the trade union organization, participated in the tournament.
The Vinogradovsky open-pit mine was represented by 8 employees: deputy director for repair and operation of equipment Dmitry Serg, chief power engineer of the open-pit mine Vladimir Tereshkin, excavator drivers Vasily Pronkin and Dmitry Kotlubosky, drilling rig operator Maxim Baranov, open-pit mine security specialists Evgeny Goponenko and Sergey Rykov, and utility column driver Ivan Sayganov.
In the qualifying games, the open pit miners defeated the team of the Beltrans Auto Repair Enterprise and lost to the team of the Kostromovskaya mine from Leninsk-Kuznetsky. In the match for third place, the volleyball players from the Vinogradovsky mine won a decent fight over the miners from the Belovskaya mine.
Based on the results of all competitions, the team from the Permyakovsky open-pit mine took second place. The winners were volleyball players from the Kostromovskaya mine.
All winners and runners-up were awarded cups, prizes and certificates.
“Sport unites work teams and allows them to express themselves in conditions of healthy competition. Therefore, such events are always held in a mood of excitement and a friendly atmosphere. In July, we plan to hold a sports competition among teams from structural divisions of the Vinogradovsky open-pit mine and the transport and forwarding company Meret. Employees of the enterprises will play volleyball, football, compete in kettlebell lifting and tug-of-war,” says Alexander Kramer, Chairman of the Primary Trade Union Organization of the Vinogradovsky Mine.
