Kuzbass Fuel Company expands its transport fleet

Kuzbass Fuel Company continues to expand its fleet of technological transport. In March 2022, BelAZ-75302 was launched at the Vinogradovsky mine, and today a new 130-ton BelAZ-7513D is being commissioned.

Kuzbass Fuel Company is a long-standing and reliable partner of JSC BELAZ, the world's largest manufacturer of mining dump trucks and transport equipment for the mining industry.

Today, the technological transport fleet of the main production asset of KFC JSC - the Vinogradovsky coal mine - is represented by 93 BelAZ dump trucks. 70% of them are large-sized 130- and 220-ton dump trucks.

The BelAZ-7513D mining dump truck is designed for transporting rock mass in a loosened state along technological roads with various climatic conditions (at ambient temperatures from -50 to +50 degrees). Depending on the specific weight of the transported cargo, the greatest efficiency is achieved when operating with excavators or loaders with buckets with a volume of 12-20 m3.

According to the company, the dump truck is designed for heavy loads and is equipped with special equipment: a five-chamber video surveillance system, a fire extinguishing system with remote activation, an external digital loading display, an automatic lubrication system and tire pressure monitoring and an atypical Chinese Weichai engine for this model.

In 2022, two more 220-ton BelAZs are expected to arrive at the Vinogradovsky mine.

In 2022, Kuzbass Fuel Company plans to increase the volume of coal production and processing. To do this, the company is implementing an investment program to expand and update the mining equipment fleet.

In Q1 2022, coal production at the Vinogradovsky section of the Kuzbass Fuel Company increased by 13% compared to the same period last year - from 2.95 to 3.34 million tons.
