Kuzbass Fuel Company expands its fleet of technological transport

At the Vinogradovsky section of the Kuzbass Fuel Company, a new BelAZ-75302 dump truck with a load capacity of 220 tons is being put into operation. It will be used to transport rock mass in difficult mining conditions.

Now the technological transport park of the Vinogradovsky section has 108 units of equipment. At the same time, 70% of the technical fleet consists of high-performance equipment of large unit capacity, including twenty-three 220-ton and thirty-two 130-ton dump trucks.

In 2022, three more large dump trucks are expected to arrive: one 130-ton and two 220-ton.

"BelAZ-75302 is distinguished by the presence of a short wheelbase and a small turning radius, which significantly improves the maneuverability of the dump truck in conditions of limited access to loading and unloading zones. Automation of many control systems and sensors increases the efficiency and operational reliability of this model of equipment, which makes it possible to increase the volume of export of rock mass and coal, thereby achieving high labor productivity indicators," the company said.

Thanks, among other things, to the renewal and expansion of the equipment fleet, the volume of transportation of rock mass at the Vinogradovsky section increased by 24% in 2021 compared to 2020: from 36,617 thousand cubic meters to 45,529 thousand cubic meters.

In addition to modern equipment, original BelAZ brand spare parts also arrive at the Vinogradovsky section. "The original parts pass the appropriate certification and meet all the requirements of industrial safety, which is very important for ensuring safe production processes, as well as for the comfort of drivers," the company explained.

An automated dispatching system has been introduced to monitor the technical condition of mining dump trucks and the operation of machinery at the Vinogradovsky section. It also allows you to quickly detect violations during the operation of equipment, preventing the occurrence of emergency situations and reducing the time for maintenance and repair.

In 2022, Kuzbass Fuel Company plans to increase the volume of coal production and processing. To this end, CPC JSC is implementing an investment program to expand and upgrade the fleet of mining vehicles – including heavy-duty vehicles – the main production asset of the company - the Vinogradovsky coal mine.

In 2021, Kuzbass Fuel Company increased the volume of coal production by 36% - from 9.38 to 12.76 million tons compared to 2020.
